Poetry and Sayings

To test love's purity,
   measure the adulterant ego.

Like the moon's light,
   many only love by reflection.

If age is measured by love, not time,
    how old are you?

To feel more love,
    remove the obstructions to it.

When the heart is ready,
   the beloved appears.

To feel love
   is to experience God.

Love's Labor

In the first garden
There was no need to choose.
But in this,
Eve is everywhere,
Yet can't be found.
Which rose is she?

At One, At Last?

Soulmates searching
In two different worlds,
Looking for someone,
And not remembering
It is for eachother.

Though now without
Your beloved,
You will be together, again.

And when you are,
Will you then be whole,
Or shall the radiant promise
Of your peerless love
Be corrupted
By the joining of souls
Still too impure?

Separation

After the movie, another love story,
To help me to see how things could be,
Something told me to play "A Time for Us".

And when I did, it touched a deep pain I had not felt,
The pain of our long separation.

I grieved - unexpected sobs that reminded me
That you exist, that you're the only one,
And how much this separation hurts.

How long has it been since we've been together?
How many lifetimes?  How long will it be
Before we're together again?

Wondrous signs from Mother Mary
Promise a great destiny soon,
A triumphant reunion of my twin flame and me.

Day after day passes, and you're still only a promise
Of some unknown time I can never seem to reach.

Will it really happen?  Will we really meet and be together again?
And if so, for how long?  A few short years, a blink of an eye,
Then separated again?

Together and alone, together and alone,
Great love and pain.  How many times?
When will the partings end?  How can they end?

We will no longer be separated from eachother
When we are no longer separated from God,
And from our God Selves.

To be together forever,
In divine, perfect love,
We must ascend.

Let us become our Divine Selves,
For only then will we be separated
No more.

What If?

What if your child
Rarely or never
Listened to you, spoke to you,
Thought of you, needed you,
Respected you, obeyed you,
Laughed with you, loved you?

What kind of a child are you
To your Father-Mother God?

-----

We all fell
   from the greatest height,
from the Kingdom of the Most High.
To return,
   we must ascend.

-----

To return to, and stay in, the Light,
   we must become Light.

Those who would move with angels,
   must try their own wings.

Freedom is the fruit
   of an enlightened discipline.

One cannot expect to eradicate weeds
   solely by planting roses.

He who would approach heaven
   must not look back.

Many seek with a candle
what only the Sun can reveal.

To avert spells of blindness,
look through the eyes of God.

A bumpy road will wake
   the sleeping traveler up.

The scorned weed
may be the herb you need.

Do not allow an antagonist
   to either penetrate your peace,
or remain outside of your heart.

Above the low, gray clouds,
   the sun is ever radiant.

As a child with wonder explores his world,
so do I experience my spirit.

A Solitary Path

Alone, on this ascending Path
Up the mountain that leads to the Summit of Being,
A modern Olympus where the Brotherhood of gods reside.

Why do so few Lightbearers
Either know about, or see the importance of,
Or desire, or work with
The gods of this sacred mountain, the mountain guides
Whose teachings, tools, and help are needed to reach the summit?
Someday, in some life, all will.

Alone, but loved, encouraged, and assisted
By the gods of radiant, white Light
Who enable me to climb the highest mountain.

I Love You, Jesus

"I love you, Jesus" -
These words often come to me
To say, every day,
When Jesus wants me to know of His Presence.
He comes with Joy, Love, Comfort,
And the Promise and Power to take me
All the way Home.

"Ye are gods" - Psalm 82:6

As a child becomes an adult,
The sons and daughers of God
Will become gods and goddesses.

The Great Leap

After your last lifetime comes the great leap -
From man to God, from mortal to Immortal,
From our little place on Earth to all of Cosmos,
From a dark Earth to Paradise,
From a candle in the great darkness
   to only bright, beautiful Light,
From our puniness to God's Power,
From our ignorance and finite minds
to the Mind of God, which is God's Son,
From our very limited, imperfect love
to a dimension filled with Divine Love,
From our personal and planetary conflicts
   to Heavenly Harmony,
From rare beauty to only Perfect Beauty,
From our sometimes happiness to Nirvana,
From our work in this world to Cosmic Service.

Are you ready for this great leap?
Do you desire it?
Do you know what it takes to make it?

In Good Time

That dim, distant day,
Once but a dream on the edge of Time,
Is now becoming, is now unfolding,
Like a flower whose golden blossoms
Opened after many lifetimes
And countless years of striving.
Time is Good.
